Compact 9-hole golf course
Our compact 9-hole golf course is for the exclusive use of Moon & Sixpence customers with golf experience. Excellent practice for your short game as well as being a delightful course in its own right. There is an attractive small pavilion with seating located by the 3rd, handy for a non-playing partner to chill out and relax or bring a player a thermos, glass of wine or a beer.
Restaurant and Bar
Relaxed and informal, offering good locally produced food and ales. At weekends, as well as the à la carte menu on a Friday evening there is usually an excellent fish ‘n’ chip supper and a particularly good home style Sunday lunch, which is popular with customers ‘week-ending’. The south facing lawn is a sun trap, with tables and chairs for al fresco dining. Indoors, a big TV, cheery wood burners, big comfy chairs and settees make it a great place to relax. The bar is open most evenings during the 7 month season, with the restaurant open at weekends, bank holidays and school holidays, excluding Sunday evenings.
Available at the Pavilion on the Rendezvous Lawn, with free access. Availability is limited and has capacity to send/receive emails and such like but will not support any form of games, video upload or playback.
Unspoilt, private woodlands, owned by The Moon & Sixpence, ideal for dog walking, jogging, cycling, photoshoots or just a gentle stroll.
